Biography
Born in Dublin of Carribean-Irish heritage, Donna Anita Nikolaisen was brought up by Singaporean and Norwegian parents in a multi-cultural family in Cork.
As a child she attended Montfort Drama School and partook in LAMDA examinations reaching medal standard. She also enjoyed singing regularly in the local folk group.
After obtaining an honours degree in Business Information Systems (UCC), she moved to Dublin to initially work as an Analyst, eventually becoming a freelance Designer.
Her Acting training includes Stanislavsky (Focus Theatre), Chekhov and Viewpoints. With voice study at Bel Canto School of Voice and Waltons School of Music.
Earlier this year she produced and performed Birdbath (Stage) under the name True Voice Theatre. Most recently she played Mrs Muller in the stage play Doubt. Notable credits include Talking to Terrorists (Stage), Bitter Sweet (TV) and The Blaxorcist (Film).
